• Father’s great sacrifices to let all children study and be Doctors/Engineers -we did it
  • Family’s support and attachment with concern including the families of my sister and brother at all times in my life- equally during good and bad times
  • Turning point during education was my most respectable class teacher Dr Ravi Chaturvedi - in 9th Standard who believed in me as a brilliant student, which I was not but his belief made me to work towards that and achieve what I achieved in school, engineering college and management studies – never looked back
  • Breakthrough at beginning of my career in 1971 when Larsen & Toubro picked me up and gave me the best in class learning platform for manufacturing which an engineer can aspire – over 11 years with them under most knowledgeable and affectionate leaders as my bosses – Mr. Wagh, Mr Divekar, Mr Kanthan and Mr. Ganapathy -grateful to the company and the leaders. Was proud of reaching # 1 position in India for market share in ACBs
  • With background of best learning at Larsen and Toubro, Greaves Cotton gave me the best opportunities to apply the learning in expanding manufacturing base from 1983-2000 covering expansions/diversification incl. JVs – Semi Conductors, Tractors, Polymers, Industrial Pumps and Gear Boxes and other products. Can’t ever forget Mr. L.M Thapar for his vision, guidance , support and encouragement. To add Foundry Crucible - Morganite under JVs at Greaves Cotton as my first green field project
  • The most dynamic and aggressive leader I worked for, was my Chairman of Jumbo Group-Manu Chhabria under whom I had a short period from 2000 as we lost him in couple of years of my joining the Group as MD of Hindustan Dorr Oliver- a Great leader and very quick decision maker almost aligned to meet my desires for growth of the company. Will cherish sweet memories of having had opportunities to work with him under his guidance.
  • I can’t miss my association with Edna Group of Sri Lanka, where was able to support the Group in achieving exponential growth incl through large exports to multi national company.
  • 15 years back, I almost started my career afresh when my nephew- Kishor Vaswani called me from US asking me to join him at his newly formed OSP Global ( now called ControlCase) to develop and manage Indian subsidiary of US company in the field of Infosec and Data Privacy and am happy that I accepted that opportunity and be a part of fast growing global entity in the niche market of Data Security and Data Privacy. I have enjoyed every moment of my association with the company, now a part of NCP Group and with to convey thanks to Kishor for believing in me to take up the opportunity in a new and hi-tech field.
  • What makes me feel happy, energetic and excited to keep working with fire in the belly and endless desire for working towards a single point goal - to strive having ControlCase as the best in all the areas of their operations where the guidance and support of the Members of the Board of Directors under Jim Little and Senior Leadership Team – Mike Jenner-CEO, Kishor Vaswani-CSO, Kevin Baillie -CFO, Satyashil Rane -COO and Shamala Boyd -CRO has been encouraging. I am happy and proud of the being a part of the team at ControlCase.

For me, when I look back and do self-appraisals, what counts is

The respect and recognition from my clients that is a measurement of their satisfaction level with our services, delivery, response time and value for money they get. When I meet them/talk to them it also includes continuous self-appraisal with a goal for continuous improvement in all the areas that will provide my clients total satisfaction. Thank you, my dear clients, for being part of extended family members in my life.

The smiles and affection I see on the faces of my colleagues with a desire to always work for the betterment for all is another area of self-appraisal. My colleagues inspire me to believe in we can continue to excel in whatever we do. Thankyou my dear members of ControlCase family and to them I assure your happiness and satisfaction will always be my KRA in life.

To add where I am talking about clients that I am proud of some of my clients- with whom I got associated when they started the business during last upto 14 years and over a dozen of them are now billionaire. Couple of them called me when they were at initial stages of setting up the entities like Harshil Mathur - RazorPay from my home town in Jaipur, Mr. Hu of Midtrans from Harvard Business School (found me as Alumni of HBS) when he was planning to come back after completing education and start his set up in Indonesia and we got involved with them and some more at similar stages and the world knows them where they are - very proud of you all. I wish and pray for many more of my clients to be members of the league.

My students of MMS in Mumbai University for whom I have been visiting faculty as Professor for Operations Management for over a decade who bring in youth with tonnes of knowledge and believe in not only learning but in knowledge sharing and inspire me with their interest and attention for the subject. Their affection and respect during the semester and parting messages when we finish the course as also being connected thereafter is memorable. God bless all with the best successes and bringing pride to me as their faculty member.

All this and more has only been possible because of the best understanding and support I get from my wife Dr Anita and children Chitra and Alok and other family members who deserve more time and attention from me where I keep failing but have not given up the hopes. Thank you Anita and I will always need your support and encouragement besides taking care of my health both as doctor and my spouse.

From the depth of my heart, I wish to convey my grateful thanks to all my friends and well wishers and pray God for the happiness with good health and prosperity for them and their family members.

I wish if and when I am reborn I get the same set of family members, clients, colleagues, friends and others who will help me live next life with same satisfaction.
